As I can’t seem to get my stuff to pack itself, I’m full of thoughts and pondering as I prepare my departure from Norfolk, and ultimately from the United States. Yes, I’m going again. Two years ago, I set out on a journey for myself, unbeknownst of…anything, really.
On that journey, I set an intention. My intention was to live my life, to follow my heart, to do what is within me, to no longer live the life pre-designed by my college degree or what I thought I should be doing. And when I returned, I stayed true. It was hard. I almost gave up several times. I almost went back to the old life I knew because I was tempted by comfort and stability. But I didn’t follow through (I applied to 37 jobs and had some solid interviews before I said, no. Not again.)
I re-connected with that intention and everything unfolded just as it was supposed to. My intention manifested into truth.
I’m going to Croatia to teach a retreat.
I’m going to Morocco to live.

This marks my 4th week in Morocco. Sometimes, it feels like a day. Other times, it feels like a century. I just remind myself…take it all in. All of it. Soak it in. Learn, be strong, learn more, cry when you have to. Don’t dwell when you do. Most of all, breathe. Just breathe. #vanasanayoga #yoga #exhaltedwarrior
Ramadan has ended, bringing in a time to reflect, reanimate, and live again. The mood and vibe in Morocco changed overnight. As the weekend ends and Eid winds down, may we all continue to find the newness, the beauty, and the light at the end of hardship. #namaste #dancerspose #yoga #nofilter #surfyogalife
